Now we are very close to see the next World Cup in Brazil. Like every 4 years we will live the soccer's greatest competition wishing our national team could be able to win the contest.
I'm mexican but being honest I don't think my national team can pass beyond the round of 16. Historically Mexico has been defeated in this instance since 1994 World Cup in the United States. Not in France 98, Japan/Korea 02, Germany 06 nor South Africa 10, the mexicans achieved the 5th game in the tournament.
I believe that the winner of this new World Cup will among Brazil, Spain, Germany and Argentina.
Brazil because it's going to be at home with all the circumstances with them like weather, people, stadiums, etc.
Spain is the last world champion and it has a splendid roster in all positions. Many of the best players around the world are spanish and this could be the last time to make history among the greatest teams in soccer.
Germany is always Germany. They never surrender and they have a great team with players in the best european teams like Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Germany almost always be among the best 4-5 teams in all the competitions and I think this World Cup won't be exception.
Finally Argentina, they will not play in its country but yes in its continent. This is a great opportunity to defeat Brazil (the major historical rival) and take glory. Argentina has the best player in the last 5 years and they will want to put end almost 30 years without a championship.
After these 4 teams I think Italy, Netherlands and Uruguay could be the surprise in this tournament. The chance to see an inedit champion or an african winner will remain to the next FIFA World Cup in 2018, not this time.
